Character Sheet
Name: Marcus Hadrian Crowley
God/Demon/Human: Demon!
Title: Marcus, Demon of Missing Socks. Wait, no...
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Abilities: Oh, your normal demon stuff. Illusion, popping from one plane to the next, time hopping, charming the socks off of everyone.
He's fairly good with a sledge hammer or a garrote, too, though lately he's been more in the mood for the former. Stress will do that to you.
Marcus is, of course, first and foremost a coward, however, and will only attack someone if he's fairly certain he'll win, can sneak up on them, or put them in a position where they can't attack him back. Only if he's really cheesed off will he fight someone who is figuratively or literally bigger than him.
Appearance: Curly brown hair, dark, Mediterranean sort of complexion, red eyes, pretty trim build. He's around average height as well.
Almost never seen wearing anything short of suit-and-tie outfits- well, he doesn't always wear the jacket, but he's generally wearing slacks and a tie, anyway- Marcus is always clean cut. He feels it helps with his image, and also he likes to feel pretty.
Personality: Bitchy. That's all you need to know.
History: Really, what's important here is that Marcus is a surly, alcoholic demon and general ne'er-do-well, but his back story is a little fun too, so we can dabble in that as well.
See, Marcus was born a twin into the upper class of a violent society of slightly morally skewed people-dudes. Mr and Mrs Crowley were a little intense, and were raising their little babies to hold one of the highest positions in the Court of the White King, ruler of blahblahblah. Anyway, so Marcus and Devin (his twin sister, from whom he was inseparable) were being pushed hard by their parents to be violent and ruthless, not unlike Mr and Mrs Crowley themselves. Well, unfortunately for the parents, they perished in a mysterious house fire when their two children were fourteen or so. Marcus and Devin, while not exactly subtle, were never charged with anything and made sure to cover their tracks.
So, this was the beginning of a long string of bloodshed and general foul play caused by the two Crowley twins, now orphans, while they climbed to the top. In a few years they had secured the positions their parents had sought for them, and were fairly content doing the King's dirty work.
Well, one day, Marcus's lovely little Rottweiler of a sister stabbed her brother with a poisoned dagger due to a lot of reasons, some of them being unwanted sexual advances, but mostly it was more because of Marcus's increasingly more prominent alcoholism and slow ascent up the crazy tree.
Dying kind of shook him out of that, though.
Eventually he met Salem in Hell and they struck up a sort of deal. It involved not killing each other and watching each others' respective backs until one of them decided it was time to terminate the contract. It was Marcus's intent to kill him all along. Unfortunately, he didn't really count on liking him.
